Description

I Spy With My Little Eye is an artistic initiative that encourages a curious exploration of Joo Chiat Complex. In December 2024, 7 young participants of diverse abilities were invited to record their curiosities about a space. Using digital cameras, they embarked on a quest-style photo walk to capture the sights and stories of various shops within Joo Chiat Complex.

Using a collage method, the participants created a series of quirky postcards, which you can browse, be tickled by stories of cats within, and be inspired to visit the shops on your own! Feel free to take home the postcards and use the stationery provided to write or doodle. We hope you have fun spying with your little eye. This exhibition runs until 28 February 2025.

This Call for Collaboration project is supported by Katong Culture and part of the Heritage Activation Nodes initiative, organised by Bambby Cheuk and Jessica Heng.
