The "Echoes of Clementi" mural celebrates Clementi's diverse multicultural communities while showcasing the area's transformation from a humble kampung into a bustling town. Drawing inspiration from local residents, the mural is a vibrant tapestry of Clementi's iconic landmarks, along with the wildlife and flora that continue to flourish within the neighbourhood. The sepia tones evoke a sense of nostalgia, transporting viewers through history. The scenes guide you on a journey through Clementi's story, highlighting its people and history.

The "Echoes of Clementi" mural is an extension of SMRT’s Comic Connect initiative that seeks to collaborate with local artists and schools to create heritage-themed, comic-style murals capturing the unique history and heritage of the locale of 35 SMRT-operated MRT stations island-wide.
