Completed in 1973, the Dragon Fountain at Whampoa Drive used to be situated within a large park land.
However, part of the park gave way to the development of Central Expressway (CTE), leaving the fountain occupying a thin strip of land in front of Block 85 Whampoa Drive.
The former fountain has been spruced up in recent years with new topiary designs surrounding the dragon.
The Chinese dragon, cladded with numerous pieces of porcelain shards and glass, is depicted as soaring towards the sky.
