Singapore Buddhist Federation (SBF) was founded in 1949 as the apex body of all Buddhist monasteries, institutions and all Buddhists - both Sanghas & Laities.
Besides promoting Buddhism for spiritual purification and guiding sentient beings, the SBF actively promoted welfare, education, culture, racial and religious harmony, and of late, enhancement of charity governance through a series of training sessions, talks and consultancy services.
This new SBF building was officially opened by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in 2009.
