Important Notes for Participants

Kindly note that no refund or exchange of tickets is allowed under any circumstance except for programme cancellation. Participants are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the programme at the meeting point, where they will be brought to the programme location. The programme will begin on time.

The food prepared in this programme is vegetarian and not halal. Safety measures will be provided and participants will be guided accordingly throughout the workshop. No outside food and drinks will be allowed into the premises.

Parents/guardians must accompany any child under the age of 12, and must buy their own ticket if so.

By registering for this programme, participants agree:

a) that the personal information supplied will be strictly used for the purposes stated above;

b) that NHB and the programme organiser may take photographs and/or videos of them (or their child as applicable) and use the images and/or videos including to archive, exhibit and publish them for publicity or any other NHB purposes; and

The Peranakan Indian (Chitty Melaka) Association of Singapore was formed in 2005 to represent the Peranakan Indian community in Singapore and celebrate the diversity of Indian Peranakan's unique, culture and heritage. Through diverse partnerships and programmes, the Association has played a significant role as a point-of-contact to promote the culture in the context of Singapore’s multiracial identity and be the resource centre to share their culture with the wider community in Singapore and abroad.
