Important Notes for Participants

Kindly note that no refund or exchange of tickets is allowed under any circumstance except for programme cancellation. Participants are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the programme. The programme will begin on time.

Visiting guests would be required to climb up a flight of 20 steps to enter the Straits Enclave, which is located the second floor of the shophouse unit.

The talk will be conducted in English and is best suited for adults and children aged 10 and above. Parents/guardians must accompany any child under the age of 12, and must buy their own ticket if so.

By registering for this programme, participants agree:
a) that the personal information supplied will be strictly used for the purposes stated above;
b) that the programme organiser(s) may take photographs and/or videos of them (or their child as applicable) and use the images and/or videos including to archive, exhibit and publish them for publicity or any other NHB purposes; and

Straits Enclave is a shophouse museum with a rare collection of Peranakan antiques located along Joo Chiat Road. The museum offers a range of programmes including museum tours, cultural talks and workshops which focus imparting knowledge on Singapore's Peranakan Chinese culture and heritage to all.
