Loke Wan Tho was the founder and chairman of the Cathay Organisation. He was killed in a plane crash on 20 June 1964 along with his third wife and business associates. His ashes were brought back to Selangor, Malaysia, on 28 June 1964 and buried seven days later at the Loke’s family burial ground.
