This is a piece of publicity material for the first Senior Citizens’ Week in 1979, which was jointly organised by the Council of Social Services, the People’s Association, and the Social Welfare Department. The first Senior Citizens’ Week saw the beginnings of a national conversation about making life better for senior citizens.
