The Singapore Armed Forces Code of Conduct was promulgated by Dr Goh Keng Swee, then-Minister for Defence, on 14 July 1967. There are six rules of conduct in this booklet. For example, rule one states that "We always honour our Nation. We will do everything to uphold it and nothing to disgrace it." This copy of the code of conduct was issued to a National Serviceman during his full-time service.
