The Rolleiflex SL35 was produced in Singapore by Rollei in the 1970s. It was the first 35mm single-lens reflex (SLR) camera produced by the company. The presence of the Rollei factory in Singapore created many job opportunities for Singaporeans and elevated the type of skills and expertise the Singapore workforce had to offer. The cameras produced here were engraved with the words “Made by Rollei Singapore”.
