This gold buckle is decorated with a phoenix and peonies among foliage and is accompanied by a belt made of metal alloy panels. The belt is part of a group of heirloom jewellery that was passed down from Lee Chuan Neo (1912-1989) to her only child, Mona Tan (b. 1945).
