Printed in Hong Kong and distributed by Chung Hwa Book Company (中华书局), this textbook was used by middle school students from Chinese-medium schools in Singapore.Primary school students would start their mathematics syllabus with Abacus, followed by Arithmetic. By secondary school, they would use textbooks such as Algebra and Geometry.Chung Hwa Book Company was founded in Shanghai in 1912 and established a branch in Singapore in 1923. It ended operations in 1997.
