This celadon green dish is simply decorated with incised striations and has a chocolate wash base. It is believed to have been produced in Wang Nua, a small production centre that was part of a much wider production tradition encompassing sites across north-eastern Thailand. Wang Nua was a comparatively small production centre. Only 25 kilns have been identified there, and the comparatively small amount of sherd debris at the site suggests that its productive period was quite short-lived.
