The calendar issued by Cold Storage features two drinks manufactured by Magnolia. Begun in 1937 by Fred Heron it is a very popular Singapore brand. As a modern milk manufacturing industry, the Dairy Farm was set up in Bukit Tima on about 180 acres with an imported herd of 800 cows. By 1960, the company which was granted pioneeer status by the government, ventured into carbonated drinks. Known for its inventive tetra-pak packaging an an expanded array of beverages, the company continues to be a favourite with local consumers.
