This advertising tray bears the image of the bottled chicken essence produced by Singapore’s well-known food company Yeo Hiap Seng. A family business founded in 1938, the company was incorporated in 1955 and known as Yeo Hiap Seng Canning and Sauce Factory Pvt Ltd with its premises at Bukit Timah – the address is visible on the packaging. This company was the first to develop canned chicken curry in 1950. Having started as a soy sauce factory, they have over the years introduced various signature drinks such as Chrysanthemum tea and soybean milk.
