Gift of the Lim family in memory of Herbert Lim Eng Kwan
These ten photographs are portraits of Herbert Lim Eng Kwan (1927-2002), Chairman of Singapore Tourist Association from 1967 to 1970, and founder and managing director of Jackie's Bowl for over 20 years. ‘Herbie’ was the son of the Peranakan businessman Lim Chong Pang (1904 – 1956) and grandson of the pineapple and rubber planter and prominent philanthropist Lim Nee Soon (1879 – 1936).
