Published between 1957 and 1965 on a monthly basis, with almost a total of 100 issues by Nanyang Publication Ltd, the Nanyang Monthly provided readers with articles on current international news, and special features on topics such as fashion and photography in a bilingual format, to attract a wide reading audience. This particular issue of Nanyang Monthly includes a feature of then Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew's meeting with a delegation of 56 members of an industrial mission from Hong Kong. Each copy was sold at 50 cents.
