The entire surface of this manuscript cover is decorated with beadwork, typical of the Kutch and Saurashtra regions of Gujarat from the 19th century. The use of beadwork shows the evolution in the types of decoration used for Jain manuscript covers. The swastika symbols appears as a pattern here.
