The American group Walker Brothers and the British, Yardbirds were the two pop music groups who came to Singapore in 1967. They gave 2 shows – 90 minutes each- at the National theatre on Jan 17. The performances were promoted by Donald Moore and Mike Ellery. This stop was on their route to Australia. . They also performed here with the local bands, the Antartics and the Quests supporting them.
