Singapore's oldest non-profit theatre company, Stage Club was founded in 1945. it celebrated its 70th year in 2015. Largely comprising of expat population, the Club first operated from 41 Malcolm Road and then later shifted to Henderson Road. over the years this club has been at the forefront of popularizing English-language theatre in Singapore and included in its reperotire, children's tales.
