After the Occupation ended, TB was a serious problem in Singapore. The Singapore Anti Tuberculosis Association was registered on August 23, 1947 and among its first responsibilities was to set up X-Ray facilities. SATA in the early 1950s was also active in providing information campaigns and booklets in order to create awareness – as this book shows.SATA rebranded as SATA CommHealth (2009) and with a new logo is a registered company limited by guarantees (a non-profit organization)
