This is a small filigree flower that would have been originally sewn to a larger headdress or wedding band worn by a Peranakan bride.This filigree flower is part of a group donation from descendants of Tan Kim Seng and Tan Jiak Kim. Both were wealthy merchants, philanthropists and leaders of the local Hokkien community.
