This cover charge board lists the prices for admission and minimum entry age to the different zones in Zouk nightclub at Jiak Kim Street. This was Zouk’s home for 25 years until its relocation to Clarke Quay’s Cannery Block at the end of 2016.Zouk first began operations in March 1991 out of three restored godowns at Jiak Kim Street on the southern bank of the Singapore River. Its original facilities included a discotheque, restaurant, café, wine par and a pub. Over the years, Zouk underwent several revamps which saw the establishment of four signature zones within the club’s premises: Zouk, which was the main dance floor located in the centre of the club; Phuture, which was established in 1996 featured a long bar and windows overlooking the main dance floor; Velvet Underground, a separate section of the club was launched in 1994 to cater to young executives; and the Wine Bar, which featured outdoor and indoor seating for patrons.
