A carved wooden "In Memoriam" plaque commemorating Lt. G.C. Kerr who was killed in action in Singapore on Feb 10th 1942. It would have possibly been assembled during internment and speaks to P.O.W efforts to remember their fallen comrades. This artefact is part of the archive of James Steele, Royal Artillery (Field) who served in Malaya from January 1941-February 1942, when interned as a P.O.W at Changi until his release in October 1945.
