Temporary driving licence (no. 15336) issued by the Registry of Vehicles with accompanying envelope

This was a provisional driving licence, valid for 14 working days, which authorised the holder to drive Class 3 vehicles while the new license was being processed. The licence was issued by the Registry of Vehicles, before a transportation unit within the Public Works Department (PWD) took over in the 1970s. This unit evenutally evolved to become the Land Transport Authority (LTA) in 1995.
