Handmade Swiss white lace from Sylvia Kho’s collection

This handmade lace sample is from the collection of Sylvia Kho who was a prominent bridal couturier in Singapore from the 1950s to 1990s. Sylvia Kho designed and custom-made wedding gowns using elaborate laces imported from Europe. She travelled extensively to France and USA to learn how wedding gowns were designed and made. She also became one of the greatest buyers of wedding gown lace in France. This exquisite lace sample still has its original label from the maker, a certain A.Naef.co which is no longer in existence.
