This was the party newsletter of the Barisan Rakyat (People’s Front). It was formed in 1971 by members of a faction from the Barisan Socialis. As stated in the sub-heading of the newsletter, the Barisan Rakyat’s mission was to be a party that belonged to the people, one that was loyal to the people and that represented and protected the rights of the people.
