Issued as a weekly supplement to Asian newspapers, Asia Magazine ran for 36 volumes from 1961 to 1998. And was published in Hong Kong. Vol.28 was perhaps a prelude to the 1990 National Day Parade, “One People, One Nation, One Singapore” which had as its slogan “25 years of Nationhood and Another 25 years of Achievements”. The issue celebrates Singapore’s rapid development from 1965-1990. It’s cover features an Asian female in military attire and a British military office.
