This is an elaborately crafted gold bangle with a ribbed outer surface and smoothly finished inner circumference. A pair of finely sculpted peacocks flanks the screw which is seen in the form of a spire akin to the tower of a south Indian temple. Bangles such as these would have been made to be presented by royalty to scholars, artists, etc as a sign of imperial honour.
