This white kebaya is made from open-weaved cotton fabric with three-lobe floral motif. A floral border of bobbin-lace decorates the edges and tapers to a point. Kebayas with elongated tapered ends were popular in the 1930s and many were commissioned by Peranakan women. Its label reads ‘Na Sin Sie, Cheribon’. It is part of a donation which contains a mixture of garments worn by Peranakan men and women.
