Both pieces of cloth are embroidered with metal thread and lined on the underside. The cream coloured panel tapers towards one end. The red panel is pleated on one side and has 3 metal rings attached on the other. They could have been used as belts. It is part of a donation which contains a mixture of garments worn by Peranakan men and women.
