Apart from the usual information and instructions for users on how to maintain and care for their Raleigh bicycles, this version from the 1970s-1980s included tutorials on changing tires and various methods of holding the drop handlebars, otherwise known as "racing" handlebars. This handbook also carried a warning that advised users of the Chopper bicycle not to carry a passenger as the Chopper had not been designed for that. In reality however, because of the Chopper's long seat, it was common to see people carrying passengers on their Chopper. Like all Raleigh handbooks since 1907, this book comes with a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects as well.
