This is a signed copy of the 1996 reader’s edition of Emily of Emerald Hill. A large image of Stella Kon’s family home, Oberon is on the cover of the book. Oberon also formed the imagined setting for the play. Stella Kon is an award-winning Singapore playwright whose most important work was the 1983 one-woman play, Emily of Emerald Hill. She is also a descendent of two prominent Peranakan philanthropists, Tan Tock Seng and Dr Lim Boon Keng.
