Published in 1969, the book “National service & you” sets out to explain the rationale behind the implementation of National Service in Singapore and the role of National Serviceman. This artefact was part of the selection in the time capsule buried in 1990 by then DPM Ong Teng Cheong to celebrate Singapore’s 50th anniversary of independence in 2015.
