This publication, printed in both Malay and Tamil, was produced by the Ministry of Law and National Development in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the founding of modern Singapore in 1969. It accompanied the exhibition titled “150 Years of Development” at Elizabeth Walk from 1-10 August 1969. The government departments that took part in that exhibition include the public works, planning, urban renewal, primary production, state and city and Housing and Development Board. The publication was printed by Times Printers and includes a foreword by E.W Barker, Minister for Law and National Development.
