This is a signed cover of a programme for a 1993 charity production of Emily of Emerald Hill. It was performed in front of late President Wee Kim Wee at Jubilee Hall Theatre, Raffles Hotel. Written by Stella Kon in 1982, Emily of Emerald Hill tells the story of a Peranakan woman from young bride to strong-willed matriarch in the Peranakan enclave of Emerald Hill, in Singapore.
