This kebaya has scalloped borders edged with small red flower embroidery. The checked fabric is double-faced and features red dot details. Kebayas with elongated tapered ends were popular in the 1930s and many were commissioned by Peranakan women. It is part of a donation which contains a mixture of garments worn by Peranakan men and women.
