Pearlly holds the distinction of being the actress to have performed the role of Emily Gan most frequently since she first began in 1990.Stella Kon is an award-winning Singapore playwright whose most important work was the 1983 one-woman play, Emily of Emerald Hill. She is also a descendent of two prominent Peranakan philanthropists, Tan Tock Seng and Dr Lim Boon Keng.
