Every Raleigh bicycle that was sold in the 1950s came with such a handbook. Apart from being a detailed maintenance guide that teaches the user how to care for the bicycle (how and where to oil, how to clean, how to inflate the tires just to name a few), it also provides instructions on how to make correct adjustments to the saddle, handlebar and brakes. The book also came with a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects, a service that Raleigh started in 1907.
