Mr.Mohamed Jina, a Dawoodi Bohra merchant is representative of such itinerant merchants. Mr Mohamed Jina from Vapi, India, travelled to Singapore on business in 1963 and died in Singapore. This identity card records Mr.Jina being a “British Subject” from Bombay. It also bears Mr.Jina’s photograph, linguistic background, profession and address information. The donor is in possession of Mr.Jina’s documents, as he was a close personal and professional acquaintance.
