Letters of Travel (1892-1913)

Letters of Travel is written by Rudyard Kipling, and describes his travels in 1889 from India to Burma, China, Japan and the United States before returning to England. That year he also travelled to Singapore, where he stayed in the Raffles Hotel. Rudyard Kipling was a famous writer and first English-language winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature (1907). His writing drew from his travels, and has come under scrutiny for its racist views.
