Expended .303 Bullet Used by Sepoy Mutiny Firing Squad No. 10, 5th Native Light Infantry

This bullet was expended during the execution of 22 mutineers of the 5th Native Light Infantry in what became known as the Sepoy Mutiny. The execution took place on 25 March 1915 at Outram Prison, with the firing squad comprising 110 men from the Singapore Volunteer Corps. The expended bullet was probably engraved with the details of the execution as a souvenir by a member of the firing squad, who indicated Firing Squad Number 10 on the bullet.
