Among the various brands of badminton rackets of the post WW2 era, the Aeroplane racket was one of the more well- known wooden rackets made in China during the 1960s which were affordable to the ordinary citizen. On the other hand, rackets of Japanese and Western brands were generally considered better though more expensive.
