The Zoology of the Voyage of H.M.S. Samarang by Sir Edward Belcher, Edited by Arthur Adams

Sir Edward Belcher (1799-1877) was a British naval officer and explorer. He captained the H.M.S. Samarang, which surveyed the East Indies and arrived in Singapore on 19 June 1843. This book complements Belcher's account "Narrative of the Voyage of the H.M.S. Samarang", and includes zoological reports from the Samarang voyage. It contains 55 lithograph plates illustrating vertebrata, fishes, mollusca and crustacea encountered during the voyage.
