This photograph of the 205 Squadron of the British Royal Air Force (RAF) was taken in Singapore in December in 1938. 205 Squadron was the first RAF squadron to be permanently based in Singapore in 1929 and was stationed at Seletar Air Base, the largest RAF base in the Far East then.
