Shoulder cloth, C-14

In Southeast Asia, high quality, hand-woven textiles were long considered a distinct form of wealth. Unlike commercial textiles which were usually made in workshops by men, hand-woven, individually made and decorated cloths were made by women and were spiritually charged.
