This is a 1950s cotton kebaya with simple floral cluster designs. Such pieces would have been worn on a daily basis in the home. The kebaya is a loose open jacket worn by Peranakan women of the Straits Settlements, Indonesia and Indo-European women of the late 19th to 20th century.
