This simple kebaya from the post war period in Manado has minimal floral lacework that run along the sleeves and lapel of the kebaya. It would have been use for daily wear. The kebaya is a loose open jacket worn by Peranakan women of the Straits Settlements, Indonesia and Indo-European women of the late 19th to 20th century.
