This evenly, potted earthenware dish has gently sloping walls. It is decorated with incised concentric circles at the centre.Wares of this type were mainly found in gravesites, in the Tak-Omkoi area of the border with north Thailand. Scholars have suggested the tin-glaze technology may have been inspired by early West Asian traditions of the 9th century introduced through trade via India. While others have suggested that 15th century Chinese blue and white wares inspired the painted designs in green.
