In 1984, a "National Exhibition" was held in the National Museum in celebration of 25 years of Nation-Building (1959-1984). Everyday items were chosen by 300,000 visitors to the exhibition who picked what they felt were most representative of the Singaporean lifestyle between 1959-1984.This electronic games set was one of the "National Exhibition" time capsule artefacts. The time capsule was buried in the front of the museum ground between Dec 1984-Dec 2009.
